Our Services
Oriel Lodge is registered to provide 20 places (male or female) for the elderly (65+ years). These places are for people who are no longer able, or no longer wish, to stay in their own homes due to increased frailty, or who are, for example, suffering from poor short-term memory.
Before each new resident is considered for a place at Oriel Lodge, an assessment of their needs is conducted by our Home Manager. This ensures that we are as certain as we can be that we have the necessary resources to meet your needs and can arrange for the involvement of other community healthcare professionals and services as required.
We do not specialise in any particular needs or interests but do try to encourage local people to use our services so that they can retain as many links with friends, neighbours and their community as possible. To encourage this there are no restrictions or formalities on visiting and you can feel free to entertain your family and friends at any time.
We understand that moving into a care home can be an anxious time for all involved and we find that maintaining links in this way helps to smooth the transition.
