Although the property is a lovely Grade 2 listed building, its reputation is built on the care that is provided by our team. We have paid particular attention to creating a happy and supported environment, where trusted and long-lasting relationships can develop between our carers and our residents.
Many of our residents are local, which means that they can continue to maintain their lifelong links with family and friends. For many, the prospect of not having to ‘worry’ anymore is the incentive that they need to decide to come and live with us on a permanent basis.
Some residents will already have had some experience of us through our sister company Bath Community Care Ltd. Providing domiciliary care in the community, Bath Community Care Ltd looks after people still able to be supported in their own homes and is able to offer clients both day care and respite care, here at Oriel Lodge. These services offer clients the opportunity to experience life in a residential home and can be a valuable guide when planning for the future and a useful bridge when the time comes to make a move to full-time care.
